I battled weight for most of my life (lose and gain and lose and gain) and never was able to find any kind of exercise or workout that I could stick with and that didn’t make me hurt…in the bad way. When I discovered Bikram yoga, I learned how to hurt in the good way—the healing way. I was able to lose weight and feel better about myself. I wanted to be able to share all of that with others.
I just love watching people trying very hard to make their lives better. So many people complain about their lives and never do anything to change the direction in which they are headed. I can look out across a hot room full of people doing this yoga and know that THESE folks aren’t going to settle for a life they don’t want.
