Standing Bow Pulling Pose – You may see some fellow students doing the standing splits in this posture.  Don’t worry: you don’t have to be able to do the splits to receive benefit from this incredible posture.

  • Improves the elasticity of the rib cage
  • Bends the spine backwards to strengthen the muscles that support it
  • Stretches the abdominals, shoulders and chest muscles
  • Deeply stretches the back of the standing leg and the front of the kicking leg
